Emjoi® is a world leader in epilation and the first brand to make tweezing as fast and comfortable as an electric shaver. The rapid tweezing system removes unwanted hair from the root with minimal discomfort and leaves the skin silky smooth and stubble-free for weeks. A wide range of epilators and shavers are developed to fulfill different customers needs. The product design and efficiency gives the Emjoi® brand prominence in the market and has the # 1 epilator for 2007 and 2008, and out sold the competition by millions of units. In 2008 Hammacher Schlemmer, awarded the Emjoi Light Caress its Best Epilator prize.
To penetrate its market further, Emjoi products are distributed through retail and chain stores, including Target, Sally Beauty, Ulta, CVS, catalogs, including Hammacher Schlemmer and also via TV shopping and e-commerce. In the USA, SLI (Soft Lines International, Ltd) does large volume with QVC and HSN as well as QVC UK and QVC Japan. Other Emjoi® products are also sold via 'As Seen On TV' outlets and through direct response television worldwide.
