The Emjoi Rotoshave can be charged two ways. Plug the adapter cord into the unit and then into the electrical outlet or plug the adapter cord into the charging stand and place the unit into the charging stand.
How long does it take to charge?
Once the Emjoi Rotoshave is plugged in it will be fully charged in 1 hour.
How will I know when the razor is charged?
When fully charged the green light on the battery indicator blink.

It has 2 speeds for light or heavy growth.
How do I select the speed on the Emjoi Rotoshave?
Press the motor power selector button once to turn on and set the razor to low speed (average hair growth). Press the button twice for high speed (heavy hair growth). Press the button three times to turn the unit off.
Can I use this razor on dry skin?
You must use shave cream or foam when using this razor. Wet your face and apply a small amount of shave cream or foam to the desired area.
What technique should I use while shaving (up and down, against the grain)?
Glide the Emjoi Rotoshave over the skin, there is no need to add pressure. Shave in any direction. For best results use long, smooth strokes on the chin and neck and use a circular motion on the cheek area.
The feeling while shaving is different than my other shaver. Should I be worried?
No. The first time the Emjoi Rotoshave is used the sensation will be different from that of a razor blade or electric razor. This feeling is perfectly normally and quickly disappears once your technique for the perfect shave has been achieved.
Can I use this in the shower?
Yes. The Emjoi Rotoshave is waterproof for use in the shower or bath but do not submerge it in water.
How do I clean the razor after using it?
Turn On the unit and rinse the 9-blade roller under water for 5-8 seconds. Turn the unit Off and lightly shake to remove excess moisture. Wipe the body of the unit with a clean dry cloth.
When should I replace the roller?
Replace the 9-blade roller when you feel the shaving results are not as smooth as the first few shaves.
